Matizek - zeitgeist
Zeitgeist is the name of a server which I've been running at home since February 16th 2008.

Sysinfo:

Motherboard: Some god-forsaken VIA mobo with socket 370
Processor: Intel Celeron (Mendocino), 334mhz, 128kb cache
Memory: 2x 128mb SDR 133mhz
Hard disk drive: 1.1Gb 2.5" HDD with 5400rpm
Power supply unit: 65W taken from some old 386
Network adapter: Levelone with Realtek chip

There is nothing else connected to the computer as the PSU is very weak.
All components exept for the network adapter are at least 8 years old. They are still working quite well. I've pimped a bit the case so it is very simple and has one 12cm fan to cool both, the cpu and the PSU. It's very very quiet, which is another good thing. But unfortunately, the disk I have is very old and therefore very loud. Something must have been moved inside it and it makes high pitch noises, but I managed to silence it down with two clothes. HDD is now therefore between two clothes in a plastic bag. System is running fine Debian 4.0 with 70% of the disk space full. The system is online since February 22th around 11am. At the moment of writing this the server has no other purpose that fun, but in future I'm planning to change the disk to one that is larger and quieter, but has to be 2.5" as it has small power consumption (my PSU is 65W!).
